Mito griego Perseo y la Medusa

Mitos Griegos: Historia de la gran victoria de Perseo sobre el monstruo Medusa utilizando un espejo.

Había una vez un monstruo con figura de mujer, llamado Medusa. Que vivía en lo alto de una roca, junto al mar. Sus cabellos eran serpientes vivas, y todos aquellos que la miraban quedaba convertidos en piedra. Muchos habían intentado matarla, y muchos habían perecido en el intento. Habían tantas estatuas de piedra alrededor del peñasco donde vivía la medusa… Un joven llamado Perseo decidió acabar con ella. Sus amigos querían disuadirlo.
- Ya saber lo que ha pasado con todos los que quisieron luchar contra ella le decían.
Pero él contestaba:
- Yo tengo mis planes.
Perseo subió hasta la roca, y cuando apareció el horrible monstruo, en vez de mirarlo y empujar la espada, sacó un espejo. La Medusa al verse en él, quedó convertida inmediatamente en estatua de piedra. Desde entonces los marineros contaban la hazaña de Perseo cada vez que sus naves pasaba junto a la roca de la Medusa.
