UN HOMBRE ATORMENTADO TRAS HABER ASESINADO A SU MUJER RECIBE LA VISITA DE UNA EXTRAÑA DAMA.
"Tengo frio. ¿Dónde estoy? ¡No puedo moverme! Mis piernas y brazos… están… como entumecidos, gélidos. Se ha apoderado de mi ser. Una sensación de abandono. Como si una garra, me estuviera, sujetando. Todo el cuerpo. ! Ayuda… Por favor. Que alguien me ayude ¡!No… No está loco!! No sé lo que pasa. Socorro!!
Hace como dos días, yo me encontraba en el despacho de mi casa, revisado unos papeles. La lluvia con ganas repicaba, en los cristales, de la ventana. ¡Que gozada, ver caer la lluvia! – me dije. Con el verano tan duro que hemos tenido.
De repente me quede, helado. Una mujer, alta, esbelta avanzaba, entre la cortina de agua. Iba sin paraguas. Con la cabeza inclinada y las manos, en los bolsillos. Por un momento, pensé – ¿A donde ira una chica tan linda a estas horas? Con la que esta cayendo…
Se fue acercando, cada ves más. Hasta que estuvo lo suficiente cerca, que le vi bien el rostro.- Pero.. ¡No puede ser: Es ella! ¡Ha vuelto! Maria.. Maria!! – grité como un loco. ¡Tú… Pero si estás.. ¿cómo es posible? Pero sí yo mismo…
La mujer se para, casi toca con su cara, el cristal. Y en su rostro blanco inexpresivo, se dibuja una sonrisa, siniestra. Que dejaron al descubierto, una dentadura podrida. No pude más. Solté un grito horrible que me desgarró la garganta, y me desmaye. Cuando me desperté. Era noche cerrada. Decidí que tenia que asegurarme. No era posible, que Maria estuviese viva. Yo la mate. Con mis propias manos apreté su cuello. Luego la lleve a una finca. Donde pasamos los fines de semana. En el huerto, cave la fosa. Y tuve mucho cuidado de disimular, la tierra removida.
En menos de una hora, ya estaba en la finca. Cuando me acerque al huerto. Un temblor, recorrió todo mi cuerpo. ! Dios mío, no puede ser, la fosa esta vacía. Como si Maria hubiera salido de ella ¡. Me entro un pánico terrible. Ya no sabia que hacer. De repente, una voz que me resulto familiar dijo. – ¡Antonio… ¿Por qué, Antonio..? ¿Por qué lo hiciste..? Dime Antonio…
María… – Dije con tono desesperado. – ¡Tú no quisiste el divorcio. No me dejaste alternativa! Entonces ella se acercó, vestida como siempre. Pero el semblante de la cara. Era una palidez fantasmal. Los pies no le llegaban al suelo. Como si flotara. Me tendió los brazos. Diciéndome: Antonio, ven… abrázame por ultima vez. Como hipnotizado, avancé y me abracé. Como nunca. Hasta ahora lo había hecho. Nos dimos un beso, largo y apasionado. Poco a poco fui entrando en un sopor, que fue dejándome como medio dormido y ya no recuerdo nada más.
Me encuentro en un lugar, lleno de barro. Y oscuro.
- ¿Qué oigo? ¡Voces! ¡Alguien se acerca! ¿Vendrán a socorrerme?
- ¡¡Oiga!! ¡Usted! ¿Qué hace ahí dentro? No ve que está dentro de una fosa, hombre de Dios?
- Pero… ¡Entonces no estoy muerto..! ¡¡Por favor, ayúdeme a salir de aquí!!
Una vez fuera, salí corriendo como un loco, gritando: !!María, te quiero!! ¡Vuelve a casa, María!!"
